About us

Heller Arts was founded by Katie Heller in 2017. With twenty years of experience Katie has worked with high profile institutions, art fairs, auction houses and galleries; creating art programmes, curating exhibitions, organising charitable auctions and building collections.

With a degree in History of Art from Bristol University and time spent working at Whitechapel Gallery, Frieze and Soho House, Katie has worked on a diverse range of project

Passionate about art as a vehicle for positive social change, Katie set up art programmes for a homeless charity and members club, The House of St Barnabas and in 2019 co-founded Art for Grenfell which raised just under 2 million pounds for victims of the tragedy.

How we work

Our expertise spans every stage of the commissioning process:

  • Initial consultation

  • Creation of the art strategy

  • Selection of artists

  • Successful coordination and installation of the commissioned artworks

Heller Arts work with a wide network of artists and galleries across the UK and internationally from young emerging artists to leading contemporary artists.  We research artists specifically for each project as well as referring to an extensive database of practitioners where appropriate.
